43rd DOS HERMANAS BOOK FAIR
The Book Fair is organising three days packed with activities
The Dos Hermanas Book Fair will be holding its 43rd edition the days 2, 3 and 4 October in the City of Knowledge, Entrenúcleos, featuring 10 stalls run by bookshops and publishers, and a programme designed to let the whole family enjoy literature. 
The poster for this year’s event was designed by local illustrator Lucía Romero, who has linked the tiles on the benches in the Plaza de la Constitución – known as ‘Los Jardines’ – with the landscape of olive trees in Entrenúcleos, whilst an open book features verses from ‘Blood Wedding’ as a tribute to Federico García Lorca on the 90th anniversary of his death.
Friday 2
The marquees will open at 5.30 pm, and at 6.00 pm the children’s parade ‘Princess Stories’ by Isolandia Animaciones, at 7.00 pm, will be the meeting and signing with Pedro Mañas and at 8.00 pm with Pablo Rivero.
Saturday the 3rd
From 11.00 am with a Children’s Literary Gymkhana For children aged 5 and over, a meet-and-greet with Lucía Solla Sobral will take place at 12.30 pm, and in the evening at 6.00 pm there will be a family show featuring ‘Luigi Ludus’, the Magician of Books and a Romantasy workshop, with limited places and advance registration at biblioteca@doshermanas.es
At 7.00 pm, the Meet-and-greet and book signing with Cherry Chic, a leading figure in contemporary romance fiction, whilst at 8.00 pm the Santa Ana Marching Band Dos Hermanas will offer a candlelit concert featuring songs by ABBA and soundtracks such as *Lawrence of Arabia* and *Game of Thrones*. Sunday 4th
At 11.30 am, we will have a meeting with Javi Padilla, author of the the ‘Mara Turing’ young adult series‘. Subsequently, at 12.30 pm, there will be a round-table discussion on Historical Novel with Inma Aguilera, author of ‘The Lady of La Cartuja’, ‘The Painter of Light’ and ‘The Jeweller’s Daughter’, y Andrea D. Morales, author of ‘The Bastard Duchess’ and ‘The Lady of the Jewish Quarter’.
In addition to We Play as a Family, a space for outdoor games and activities.
