Hacienda Torre Doña María

The Hacienda Torre de Doña María, located in Dos Hermanas. It was built, according to tradition, by King Pedro I of Castile for his secret wife, Doña María de Padilla, and was later used as a place of recreation for the kings. It is an example of the architectural type of the Hacienda de Olivar in Seville.
Its group of buildings shapes the landscape in which it is located. Heir to the primitive models of land exploitation, Roman remains have been found on its site and there is also reference to the fact that it was an Arab farmhouse, owned by the family of Ibn Khaldun.
