On Saturday 22 March from 10:00 a.m., the Laguna de Fuente del Rey will host an open day with free activities for all ages, including guided tours, workshops and birdwatching, with the aim of raising awareness of its attractions as a nature tourism destination.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Dos Hermanas Town Council<\/strong> and the Fuente del Rey Lagoon<\/strong>continuing with its firm commitment to the revitalisation and enhancement of this natural enclave as a sign of identity of the municipality and as a benchmark in environmental awareness and education in a unique urban setting, are organising a open day<\/strong> with activities for the whole family during the Saturday 22 March 2025 from 10:00 h onwards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This conference is part of the activities of the Two Sister Cities Tourism Plan for Large Cities<\/strong>The aim of the event is to promote the creation of tourism products, strengthen collaboration with companies in the sector and promote the local business network linked to nature tourism. The event will have the collaboration of Emasesa, WWF, Ecoembes, Ecovidrio, SEO Sevilla and Abogarse<\/strong>The project is a joint project of the European Commission and the European Environment Agency (EEA), entities committed to environmental conservation.<\/p>\n

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to enjoy a varied programme of activities and activities. free activities designed for the whole family<\/strong>From guided tours to discover the biodiversity of the wetland to children's workshops on flora and fauna. With completely free access, this open day aims to bring citizens closer to the natural values of the Laguna de Fuente del Rey, promoting respect and enjoyment of wetlands as areas of biodiversity and sustainable tourism.<\/p>\n

Among the activities programmed, participants will be able to enjoy exhibitions, information tables, workshops for the whole family (painting, clay, seeds, bird nests, etc.), birdwatching and birdwatching, and botanical routes, among others.<\/p>\n
