As part of the national horse racing circuit, the racing season at the Gran Hipódromo de Andalucía offers a unique entertainment experience and contributes to the dissemination and promotion of equestrian culture in the region as well as other cultural areas thanks to the different events, exhibitions and shows that are organised during the races, thus complementing the leisure offer.

During his speech, Juan Antonio Vilches Romero, as CEO of Apuesta Mutua Andaluza, S.A.U., manager of the Gran Hipódromo de Andalucía, highlighted «the effort made every year with the celebration of this season, which involves the creation of numerous jobs and services», while thanking «the collaboration and support of public entities, both state, such as SELAE, or the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, with aid for breeders' associations, as well as provincial, with the Provincial Council of Seville. Similarly, the CEO of AMA expressed the lack of support from other public entities, such as the Junta de Andalucía.

In terms of tourism, the development of this type of event has a great influence on the environment in which they are held, due to the fact that all equestrian activities involve transport, travel, accommodation, accommodation and catering, both for people and horses, and this undoubtedly has a positive impact on the development of tourism in the area where they are held, involving the possibility of making the environment, with its traditions and culture, known. The aim is to promote the racing season at the Gran Hipódromo de Andalucía as a unique tourist product.

Furthermore, the advantage of the weather in Dos Hermanas, together with the improvement made to the grass track, allows horse racing to be held at a time of year when it is impossible to do so in other locations. In this sense, the technical director of the Association of Horse Racing Organising Societies, Fernando Pérez, has highlighted the racing programme drawn up for this season, emphasising the «solidarity» nature of the programme «so that the prizes can be distributed to the greatest number of horses and, with this, help mainly for the owners».

The racecourse racing season boosts the local and national horse racing industry. It generates business opportunities for breeders, trainers, jockeys and other equestrian professionals. It also promotes the breeding and genetic improvement of racehorses. On the other hand, it is an essential axis in the horse racing circuit in Spain and a key element to continue promoting the turf industry, as other national racecourses are nourished by professionals from this land who compete at a high level, and which, in short, consolidates horse racing as a source of sportsmen and professionals.

For his part, Ernesto José Gasco, as president of the Racecourse Association, has placed special emphasis on the importance of this season within the national racing circuit. He highlighted the value of this sport, «unique in that both men and women compete on equal terms». «The Nazarene horseracing season, which
represents the south, together with the racing season at Hipódromo de la Zarzuela, embodying the centre, and that of San Sebastián, representing the north, show the density and union of all areas within the Spanish turf,» concluded the president of Hipódromo de la Zarzuela.
